Blood On The Rice Field
This photography project delves into the island of Sumba, Indonesia, revealing its rich tapestry of
religious practices, ancient rituals, and sacrificial ceremonies. Key moments include the Pasola festival, a thrilling spear-fighting event symbolising the harmony between humans and nature, and various aspects of tribal life that showcase the community's deep- rooted customs and social structures.
